CIDI is proud to present our newest service line, PubFile Nexus (PFN). 

PFN is a newly improved platform designed to streamline access to publisher files for post-secondary students with qualifying print-related disabilities. This innovative service will transform the way that Disability Service Providers (DSPs) provide files to the students they serve. 

PFN offers an easy solution for obtaining e-text files directly from Pearson, with other publishers soon to be onboarded. With over 90% of requests fulfilled instantly, the platform ensures that students receive the resources they need without delay. 

DSPs can verify book purchases, check file compatibility, and provide students with accessible formats tailored to their needs—all through a user-friendly interface. With the click of a button, DSPs can send fulfilled textbook requests directly to the requesting student, or download them to be further remediated before the student accesses the text. 

It is important to note, however, that the files offered come directly from the publisher and may not be accessible for all students. CIDI’s E-Text unit can provide quick and easy remediation for a reasonable fee if necessary.
